Reliance Jio’s “Happy New Year” offer will be officially ending today. The free internet plans will cease on 26th April at 7:55 am.
The following information can be checked on the “My Jio” app which states that the “Happy New Year” offer will be ending at 7:55 am on 26th April. Before the expiration, users will get 283.93MB data and 28 SMS messages to use.
The Happy New Year offer was activated on all Jio numbers after 31st December 2016 and was continued to 31st March. Jio subscribers were entitled to free 1GB day per day and 100 SMS per day for 3 months. The Happy New Year was to be extended by the Summer Surprise Offer which was ordered by TRAI to be cancelled in view of fair market practices. Still, the free offer was extended until 15th April for those who had missed out the previous deadlines.
Jio Prime members will continue to get the benefits of the Happy New Year offer for a sum of Rs 303 per month. There are other offers available as well that can be checked on Jio’s official website.
Jio subscribers should keep checking the My Jio app for keeping an eye on the data expenses incurred from now on.
