Instagram was down for thousands of users yesterday, here's why

Instagram outage left thousand of users in US and UK unable to use the app properly.

Photo-editing app Instagram apparently stopped working for many users on Monday, 24th April.
According to DailyMail, Instagram crashed for many users across US and UK and even some parts of Europe. The users took to Twitter to express their frustration due to this.
Instagram was quick to respond to the glitch. They acknowledged the problem and assured the users that they were working on a fix.
The company, however hasn’t revealed the reason to apparent glitch.
This isn’t the first time that Instagram faced troubles. Back in February, several Instagram users reported that they were unable to post photos or videos on the platform.
