LinkedIn launches special app for students looking for job
You are a college grad, the goal next is to chase and hunt down a comfortable job. To hop on board the professional wagon is nothing as easy as pie for the fresher in the school of employment whose curriculum vitae need not have sufficient experience bullets to boot.
The first and foremost point of online job search, LinkedIn, knows what its members are on the lookout for. From the house of the professional network has come out an app, LinkedIn Students, intending target users, the college passouts and help them out to land a suitable career.
Step one is feeding in personal data, the place of study and subject major based on which the app will go on to suggest alumni and professionals in the respective fields along with pointing to the most suitable companies and job titles. The idea is not something popped up inside the heads of the makers overnight, for a global community of 40 million student user base is not something to be ignored.
Having copied down many of the design features of the dating app Tinder, the new app is even called to be a platform where people can swipe through their job prospects that easily. The service accessible in the US is available on iOS and Android.
