Xiaomi's new high-end smartphone leaked in China
Xiaomi has been in a launching spree since the last couple of months. The company recently launched their Mi Mix phablet featuring a 6.4-inch Quad HD display and took the market by a storm. Now it appears like Chinese electronics company is planning on offering customers who prefer smaller phones with yet another alternative.
This device goes by the name of Mi S. While the speculated device has not yet been confirmed, there are a couple of leaks that point towards the same. A post on the Chinese social media website Weibo, includes a set of seven images allegedly showing the Xiaomi Mi S render images for front and back portion along with the hardware specifications of the device.
The Xiaomi Mi 5 S sports a 4.6-inch full HD display and is powered by Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor along with 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. In terms of camera, the device packs a 12MP Sony IMX378 rear camera and a 4MP front shooter. The smartphone is reportedly powered by a 2600mAh battery with Quick Charge support.
The Xiaomi Mi 5 S is 8.2mm thick and weighs 138 grams and comes with a USB type C port.
There is no word on the price and the release yet.
