Microsoft has released the Face Swap app for Apple users on iOS. This comes after the company previously rolled it out for Android earlier this month.
Now this means that Windows is the only mobile OS platform which lacks Microsoft’s own Face Swap app — even though many users would expect the company to support its own platform first and then those built by rivals.
The Face Swap app is now available on iPhones and iPads with support for iOS 8.0 or later, thus offering a totally clean experience with zero ads or in-app purchases.
Face App is an application which can automatically crop your face from a new picture or from a photo saved in the camera roll and then paste it on a series of template which are provided by Microsoft. There are also various collections of hairstyles, fashion shots, and scenes.
Also, group photo morph is also offered which will swap multiple faces at once. Unlike other face swapping apps found in the store, Microsoft’s own version uses what it calls intelligent morph tech, which means the end result would only need fine tune and nothing else.
