Android O was unveiled in March this year and was also showcased at Google I/O later. However, the name of the latest operating system is still under wraps. The company will reveal the name of the OS later this year there are half baked reports that suggest the name of the OS.
Technology news website spotted an internal source code that suggests Android O could be dubbed as ‘Android Oatmeal Cookie’. The source code states that Google Pixel is running on Android O Developer Preview or ‘oc-dev’. The word ‘oatmeal cookie’ was also cropped at Google I/O.
While this strongly indicates the name of the OS, there are chances that Google could name. Earlier the company was also rumoured to name the OS as Android Oreo.
Google also released the Developer Preview 3 with the final Android O APIs in early June. The latest preview includes the latest version of Android O platform and brings optimisations and bug fixes....
