The highly-used Gmail app on smartphones has just got a useful update which will let you undo sent emails. Wrong typos or last-minute changes can now be done on your emails which are already sent as you can prevent them from being visible to the receiver. However, you get a room of just a few seconds to take the email back.

The feature was already available on the desktop version of the engine which has now been assigned on the mobile app as well. The feature has been infused in the version 8.7 and ahead of Gmail mobile app. The same has been revealed during a testing by Android Police who confirmed that the update has been rolled out for 8.7 and newer versions and not for the older ones.

So now, once you have sent the email, you see thin message box at the bottom of the screen which shows 'Sent' on the left side and 'Undo' option on the right and it is available only for 10 seconds. Once clicked, the message won't show to the recipient and you are taken back to the editing screen.

Although small, the feature seems to be a nifty one as we often come across mistakes or remember some changes in the emails which are already sent.
