In the battle of IT titans, Apple has beaten its rivals to take the top spot beating Microsoft and Google who are pretty far in the charts.
According to an analysis made by Gartner, Apple takes the leading spot with $218.1 billion. Samsung is the runner up with $139 billion. Google and Microsoft are far behind with $90.1 and $85.7 billion respectively. IBM takes the fifth with $77.8 billion.
But the report has also stated that Google is the only company to have managed to increase its IT revenue from 2015. Stats have shown that Apple’s revenue dropped from $235 billion and Microsoft from $88.1 billion. Google has, on the other hand, recorded revenue of $74.9 billion from the previous year.
