After allowing you to pay all your various bills, Amazon has now confirmed that it will also allow you to book your domestic flight tickets as well. As with everything else on the Amazon app, booking your flight tickets is extremely simple. In order to book your domestic flight, all you need to do is head on to the Amazon Pay page on the Amazon mobile app or on the official Amazon website, amazon.in and you are ready to go. What may also interest you is that there is up to a massive 5 per cent cash back on all bookings.
Speaking on the launch of this new feature, Shariq Plasticwala, Director at Amazon Pay said, “We’re delighted to add domestic flight bookings enabling customers to do more with their Amazon app and for Prime members to get more value from their membership. We are excited to partner with Cleartrip and share their passion of creating the best in class travel experiences.”
To book tickets using Amazon Pay, a user can use their existing payment information and contact details. For those interested in availing of this convenient feature, consumers can then see the payable amount including all applicable charges. For those interested in cancelling a booking, all they need to do is pay the concerned airline’s cancellation charges with Amazon Pay itself and Amazon will not levy any further charges on you.
