Facebook testing group voice calling on desktop version of Messenger
Facebook is in works to launch ‘group voice calling’ feature on the desktop version of its messaging platform Messenger.
According to a report by TechCrunch, the social media giant, at present, is testing the feature with limited number of Messenger users.
The group voice calls feature is already available on its mobile Messenger app.
In case you are one of the lucky chosen by Facebook, you’ll spot a phone icon in your group chat window which you can click to invite friends to the group to join the call.
Additionally, the Facebook-owned Oculus also launched a voice feature called Parties, allowing users to make VR-to-VR calls.
Other than this, popular apps like WeChat, WhatsApp, Microsoft’s Skype and many more features group voice calling on their platforms.
