Nokia readying itself for MWC 2017 with game-changing devices
In recent years, Finnish smartphone maker Nokia has been using MWC events for announcement of new smartphones and other devices. It now seems that the company will do the same next year, as Nokia has announced that the CEO might introduce new phones in the Mobile World Congress 2017.
The MWC has been scheduled to take place between February 27 to March 2, and it’s the ideal opportunity for many smartphone makers to announce their latest devices. Rajeev Suri, CEO of Nokia will be delivering a keynote at the trade fair and the company is expected to announce at least one Android Nokia-running smartphone.
After the fallout of it’s partnership with Microsoft, Nokia had planned to license its commercial rights for the brand to HDM Global for the next decade. The HDM Global manufactured smartphones are slated to be released by the end of this year.
Nokia has been working on a massive 13.8-inch tablet — appeared to run on 7.0 Nougat with a display of 1920x1080 pixels. It is unclear whether Nokia will announce this tablet during the MWC next year.
The company has also been rumoured to be working on two Android smartphones with remarkable specs with Snapdragon 821 and 22MP camera, but still the reveal is yet to be waited for.
