The new PUBG trailer showing the game\'s dark origins will give you chills!

Though the Battle Royale genre has recently become immensely popular, these games aren’t often associated with background stories. But Player Unknown’s Battle Grounds, or PUBG, aims to change the way you look at the game.

The fictitious, yet incredibly dark origin story of how PUBG will leave you amazed. Have a look at it here-

The trailer starts in 1965 and follows the story of a young boy in a war.

The boy is caught amidst a war in his home, Erangel, when he sees an armada of bomber planes approaching his town. After the bombing is done and the smoke clears, the boy gets up an realises he is the only survivor left on the island.

The trailer then skips to years into the future with the boy, now a grown up man, sitting in front of many screens as many people compete by killing each other on the battle royale environments he organises on his home island of Erangel.
