Hyderabad: IT minister K.T. Rama Rao on Wednesday launched Payswiff Android Powered Point of Sale (POS), a mobile device for making e-payments. Developed by Hyderabad-based start-up Payswiff, it allows merchants can accept payments through credit and debit cards, e-wallets, UPI, Bharat QR, etc at the store, at customer’s doorstep and online.
Mr Rao said, “It is a matter of pride that a Hyderabad-based company like Payswiff is leading the Indian Fintech Industry with its innovative solutions, making the lives of people easier while contributing to the Digital India initiative. I am glad that Payswiff has been studying the Indian scenario and is coming out with such unique products.”
Prabhu Ram, co-founder, MD and group CEO of Payswiff, said, “We intend to help accelerate the pace of digital inclusion for millions of merchants and customers in India. to facilitate this, we have entered into tied-ups with banks across the country.”
