WhatsApp is an extremely popular chat service across all platforms. Millions of people use it to send a countless number of messages to their relatives and friends. However, there are some people on user’s contacts list who are important to them and want their chats to stay on top, regardless of new messages from others. Now, with WhatsApp’s “pinned chats” feature, it is possible.
Available previously for beta users of WhatsApp, the pinned chats feature lets the user fix chats of up to three contacts on top of any other chat. Users need to simply tap and hold a chat, and then tap the pin icon at the top of their WhatsApp screen. To unpin a chat, long press the pinned chat and tap on the unpin button.
The pinned chat feature is currently available only on the Android platform. WhatsApp users will need to download the latest WhatsApp update from the Google PlayStore.
