Microsoft has launched the official Planner app for the iOS platform in the App Store. This is company’s first step towards making this service available on the mobile devices.
Apple's iPhone is the first to get the Planner app, while Android users will have to wait to get the app running on their phones. A universal app for Windows 10 is also in the works, but no details were provided in this case.
The Microsoft Planner comes with a straightforward UI that allows users to create new plans, organize and assign tasks, share files, chats, and get updates, all with mobile access through the dedicated app or within the service.
The app also offers features such as the possibility to organize work visually. The collaboration feature allows users to work together with team members on the same tasks, attach photos and share them with colleagues, chat and store conversations in the cloud for easy access.
