Microsoft's latest iPhone update brings new SwiftKey themes

Additionally, the company has also introduced two new animated themes, namely Zig Zag and Cogs

Microsoft recently released a major updater for the iOS version of SwiftKey which introduces new animated themes and support for around 68 languages.

This means as of now SwiftKey supports a total of 106 languages, which is impressive to say the least for a keyboard app which needs to provide suggestions and predictions for users worldwide.

Additionally, the company has also introduced two new animated themes, namely Zig Zag and Cogs, each available in three colors, as well as a fresh new look for Nickel Light and Nickel Dark themes.

The SwiftKey is currently at version 2.0, and is one of the most advanced mobile keyboard apps, offering advanced text prediction, as well as rich support for themes and a bunch of other configuration options that help it adapt to the requirements of most users.

SwiftKey, however, is not developed by Microsoft from scratch, as the company purchased the app from the original vendor in February 2016. At that point, the software giant guaranteed that support for SwiftKey would continue to be offered, with updates and improvements to be released at the same pace as before the acquisition.

In the meantime, Windows phones are slowly losing Microsoft’s focus, with the keyboard being the last problem from its users, as the future of the platform itself is uncertain at this point, with more rumors pointing to a planned demise in the coming months.
