MINDBODY furthers commitment to diversity in workforce

It also associates with WomenWhoCode in Pune.

In a bid to support the increased participation of women in the Indian technology workforce, MINDBODY has associated with Women Who Code (WWCode), an international nonprofit dedicated to inspiring women to succeed in tech careers.

MINDBODY, Pune hosted the first session as a part of Women Who Code’s new 360 degree inspiration series launched to further the vision of increasing opportunities for women across different levels in the technology workforce. The three presenters at the session were Ms. Veena Moktali, Chief Executive Officer, Periwrinkle Technologies Pvt. Ltd, Ms. Rasayani Kamat, Associate Director, Learning & Development, PubMatic and Ms. Yeshasvi Pachpore, Director at Women Who Code.

MINDBODY is driven to support the growth and participation of women in India’s technological workforce as an embodiment of the firm’s collaborative workplace culture and has undertaken a series of initiatives that underscore this commitment. One such initiative is the Women in Tech group of Mindbody professionals led by Namrata Kulkarni, Director of WWCode in Pune, whose mission is to attract, advance, and retain women within the MINDBODY ecosystem. To pursue lasting, fulfilling careers for women in technology, MINDBODY adopts best practices and employs effective measures that serve both industry as well as local communities.

MINDBODY has also been certified as a great workplace by the independent analysts at Great Place to Work and is one of 230 companies selected for the 2019 Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index, which distinguishes companies committed to transparency in gender reporting and advancing women's equality.

Recently, MINDBODY launched their new office in Pune, India to enforce their plan of harnessing the country’s potential and vibrant technology ecosystem to deliver cutting edge solutions and service to their customers across the world.
