Delhi to get 50 Motorola hubs
Motorola, which has sprung back in action through online sales of its handsets since the past three years has finally decided to make its presence felt in the country by launching retail stores which the customers can visit and choose from the range of smartphones and devices themselves.
An official announcement about the same was made on January 18 which stated that Delhi will soon be having 50 retail stores. Sudhin Mathur, Managing Director, Motorola Mobility India commented on the announcement and said, "We had earlier said that we will be moving into retail. This is the first big step in that direction. More than two-thirds of the smartphone customers in the country buy devices at retail stores. Moto Hub addresses this need by offering a complete platform to interact, engage and purchase."
These ‘Moto hubs’ are expected to offer the entire portfolio of Motorola devices, and also house online exclusive smartphones like Moto X4 and devices like Moto Mods, earphones, Moto shells and even phone accessories. The hubs in Delhi are expected to be located at the popular consumer hangout areas.
