Check out these cool features you will soon get on WhatsApp

These features are still being developed and might not be entirely bug-free as of now.

Instant messaging service WhatsApp’s new beta update, version 2.19.332 hints at new features that will likely come to the stable version soon. The two new features are blocked contact notice and grouped blocked contacts.

According to WABetaInfo, these features are still being developed and might not be entirely bug-free as of now.

The first feature—Blocked contact notice will show you a tiny bubble in your chatbox when you start texting a blocked contact. The bubble will say “You blocked this contact. Tap to unblock”. The bubble will only be visible to you and not the recipient.

The second feature—Grouped blocked contacts will feature categorisation for the blocked contacts into sections like ‘business’ contacts. The separation will, however, be automatic.

There are two more, smaller features in the new beta. One is an updated “No Profile Picture” image, and the other is the ability to use WhatsApp from a second device using a registration code. The feature will be the app’s first step towards the multi-platform messaging system that parent company Facebook wants to build between Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp.
