Flying tip: Check out which is the best seat in an airplane according to a pilot
While most prefer a window seat or an aisle, many consider their own selected seats. However, frequent fliers would agree that not every selected seat is a comfortable place. While the window seat is a bliss for looking outside, an aisle seat can give you easier access to moving around—you know to where! Frequent flyers would probably know this, unless they have not yet registered it till date. Those who are flying for the first time, or are travel occasionally, here is a tip which is claimed to be the best seat on an airplane. The seat will offer you the quietest area where you can catch a few naps without being disturbed by loud engine noises.
According to a report featured by LifeHacker, an airline pilot was asked by JetBlue where one could find the quietest seats on an airplane. In his response, he claimed that the quietest place where there is the least amount of noises is when you are sitting forward on the wings. Most planes have their engines located under its wings and sitting in front or at the back of the engines will sound as though you were sitting in front of a loud speaker. Sitting in-line with the engine area helps as the sounds are far lower. On the other hand, if you want it quieter, the seats upfront are the best. Hence these seats are always, and usually reserved for the first class customers and if not, they are charged a premium.
On the other hand, if you are a person who has a motion sickness issue, these two areas are the best to opt. Being seated in the middle of the airplane (usually over the wing) is the calmest and quietest.
However, you need to get early access to the seats when checking in on your flight. Privilege customers usually get to choose their own seats. Many choose the seats when booking the ticket itself. If you are late, the system automatically selects the seats for you.
