Google updates its Photo app with a new video stabilisation feature
Google has updated its Photo app with a new video stabilisation feature on Android. Thanks to the new addition, users will now be able to experience an enhanced video stabilisation functionality.
The new feature automatically corrects shaky videos. Users can access the feature via the Videos tab under the Albums section. The new option is located next to the ‘Rotate’ button in the app, which is visible once the user hits the edit icon. Once users tap the option, the effect is immediately applied to the video.
Users will be able to see the progress in the in-app progress bar. Once done, the Stabilise button will turn blue.
The new update is only available for Android as of now. No mention of when it will be available for iOS has been made by Google yet.
