Samsung launches app similar to BlackBerry Hub
Samsung has released a new BlackBerry Hub-like app on Google Play Store which comes along with multiple productivity tools and features.
The Samsung Focus app is now available for download on Samsung smartphones and tablets, running on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 or above.
Rumours about Samsung Focus have been surfacing for quite some time and the app was believed to be released with the new Galaxy Note 7. While the Galaxy Note 7 has to be replaced and re-released, the Focus app has been finally released.
The app allows Exchange ActiveSync, IMAP and POP3 users to manage their mails, calendar entries and tasks more efficiently. It also offers Direct Push synchronisation, with Exchange ActiveSync.
It also supports unified search for locating emails, events, memos, tasks and contacts faster. Another nifty feature of the app will notify users about unread mails and messages.
Moreover, the app can also join conference calls with supported devices apart from supporting multiple servers. The app is currently available in all countries but will be rolled out slowly. The app has already been downloaded by 500 users and has a good rating.
