If you forgot birthdays of your close friends in the earlier days, it would have been a sin in your life. Thanks to Facebook today, you can forget everything and rely on some computer codes written by eggheads in Mark Zuckerberg’s team. In fact, Facebook birthday wishes are considered to be of greater importance than an actual wish these days. Therefore, to enhance the user experience, Facebook has updated itself to do noble things together with your friends who care.
There are two new additions to Facebook for the US members this week related to birthday celebrations. The first of these is a new fundraiser feature which will help you do noble deeds and be remembered on your birthday. Users will receive a notification two weeks prior to their birthday asking them to start a fundraiser event of any amount. The event will go on till your birthday and will creep up on your friends’ timelines, asking them to donate if they want to.
The second new addition is a special birthday video for the birthday person from his/her friends. If you have seen or shared friendship anniversary videos, then these birthday videos would be familiar to you. These videos will be shown to you on the day of a close friend’s birthday.
If you are excited by these new Facebook additions, then all you have to do is wait for them to arrive in India as they are only released for the US members.
