Would you be interested in an Apple pizza box?
Until now, you have seen a lot of breakthrough innovations from Apple. Whether it be the iMac, iPod or iPhone, Apple has made sure that the tech industry follows it every year. Their motto of keeping things simple but different has kept the company floating over the others since its existence. Now, they have taken their vision of simplicity to another level. Hold your breath while we announce Apple’s next innovation – the Apple pizza box.
Before you get into thinking that it might be some higher level tech with a simple name, you should know that it’s a simple pizza box to carry pizzas from one table to another. Why did Apple bother to get a patent for simple pizza box design? Because it can prevent your Pizzas from getting soggy while carrying from the canteen to your desk.
In appearance, the box is more of a circle with a lid and base. There are holes cut out on the top of the lid to let the vapours escape from your fresh pizza. There are no silicon parts anywhere, so geeks have nothing to be interested in.
The pizza box was “invented” by Francesco Longoni, the head of Apple’s food services team. A patent was applied for the box seven years back.
