Republic Day Sale: Flipkart and Amazon gear up for the online battle
Online shopping has become a boon for most of us and the sales and discount offers which keep popping up every now and then are like a cherry on the cake.
Come this January 26, when Indian will be celebrating the 69th Republic Day, e-commerce companies Amazon and Flipkart will give million of customers a reason to rejoice by introducing sales. While Amazon India had already announced its ‘Great Indian Sale’ from January 21 to January 24, it is Flipkart, which has decided to give a run for their money (and customers) and announced ‘The Republic Day Sale’ which is scheduled from January 21 to January 23.
Flipkart has said that its customers will get offers such as ‘Minimum 69% off’ on a wide range of products, ranging from clothing to electronics.
The top deals during the three day sale will include up to 60 percent off on laptops, camera and other electronic accessories and up to 70 percent off on TVs and home appliances. The top deals include Smartron t.phone P at Rs 7,999, Google Pixel 2 XL at Rs 48,999, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge at Rs 35,900, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 at Rs 10,999 and Mi Mix 2 at Rs 29,999. The sale will also see exclusive availability of Honor 9 Lite, a quad-camera smartphone from Huawei’s e-brand. And Flipkart will also offer no cost EMI, Debit Card EMI, Product Exchange offers, Buy Back Guarantee, Buy Now Pay Later options. It will also offer 10 percent cashback on payments made through Citibank credit & debit cards.
