With that being said, the sketches show small bezels and an almost edge-to-edge display. The rear sports vertical dual-camera setups and squared-off corners. The fingerprint scanner is apparently located inside the home button, found under the Nokia 9 screen, while the biometric reader might be embedded under the display of the Nokia 9.

Also, in other developments sketches for the Nokia 9 also seemed to incorporate an iris scanner, along side small bezels on the front. Rumors have stated that Nokia 9 will feature a 5.5-inch display with a 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution and a price tag of about $699.

The smartphone is touted to run the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 platform with an octa-core 2.5GHz CPU and Adreno 540 graphics processing unit. RAM capacity is rumored to reach 6GB, along with 128GB of internal storage. The rumored 22.1MP dual-camera setup on the Nokia 9 is accompanied by a 12MP sensor in the front.

The battery capacity inside the smartphone is rumored to reach 3,800mAh, while the smartphone could come with Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box. With the specs given, Nokia 9 might also be looking at IP68 certification for protection against water and dust damages, as well as Nokia’s OZO Audio feature with 3D capture and low latency. Both the Nokia 8 and the Nokia 9 are expected to be announced by the end of the second quarter, while the devices could be introduced later.
