There have been occasions where there was an urgent need to talk to someone urgently but then there was a massive problem of remembering passwords, skype ids and signing into accounts eventually getting frustrated over a very simple communication requirement.
However, it seems like Microsoft has finally found a solution for the same problem as company’s communication service Skype Web can be used now without the need to sign into the account before starting a conversation.
For this service, users have to head to the Skype home website and enter their name. After this they will be provided with a, unique conversation link, which can be shared to start conversations. Users can share this chat link with individuals or with groups, depending upon their requirement. The contacts that receive this link can also join the conversation using the link without signing in if they are also using Skype for web, stated the company in a blog post.
Additionally, Microsoft has allowed many of Skype’s features available for guest users who can start Skype conversations without signing in. These features include one-to-one and group instant messaging, voice and video calls, screen sharing, and file sharing. Over 300 people can join in on the chat conversations and up to 25 people on voice or video call for free.
The company has further stated that the conversation link will be active only for 24 hours. As users don’t have to register or sign in to use Skype conversations, the service will most likely lure more users.
