Freecharge has introduced ‘Auto Pay’ to facilitate transactions for any validity bound recharges or utility bill payments. The new feature will make the payment process more reliable for customers.

To make recurring recharges and bill payments convenient and friction-free, customers can now enable the Auto Pay option for payments via Freecharge. The payments will be done automatically from the Freecharge wallet on the due date, given that the consumer maintains sufficient wallet balance.  Once the transaction is successful, a confirmation will be shared with the customer.

Commenting on the launch, Govind Rajan, CEO, Freecharge said, “We are insanely focused on transaction experience. With auto pay we have taken one more step forward in making payments seamless. Now, customers need not worry about the due dates of their multiple utility bills and distress about incurring late payment charges. The launch of Auto Pay feature will bring in more convenience in the lives of customers and eliminate their payment hassles by completing the transaction through the Freecharge wallet in a swifter and safer manner.”

The Auto Pay feature sends a reminder to the customers about the due date before initiating the payment process. In case there aren’t sufficient funds in the Freecharge wallet, customers are reminded to add money to their wallet.
