Find out the new feature from Apple which was launched 4 years ago by Samsung
If we are to believe the rumors concerning Apple since the last couple months, there are many. However, with a bunch of connecting rumors from various different sources, we have narrowed the rumors down to three different iPhone models this year, one with an OLED screen (presumably called iPhone 8) and two similar to the existing generation which is marketed as the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.
In these three models, the iPhone 8 will feature the biggest number of upgrades, with Apple planning a fingerprint sensor placed under the screen, a facial recognition system, no bezels, and wireless charging.
Talking about the latest wireless charging system, CEO of Winstron, Apple’s number one partner in Taiwan, has stated that it could be possible that other iPhones could get it too, alongside waterproofing, which is already present on other iPhone models.
Winstron CEO, Robert Hwang has stated, “Assembly process for the previous generations of [iPhones] have not changed much, though new features like waterproof and wireless charging now require some different testing, and waterproof function will alter the assembly process a bit.”
However, previous analysts have noted that Winstron and Foxconn could be responsible for iPhone 7s Plus manufacturing, and if this is accurate, there is a chance that only the bigger model will have the wireless charging and enhanced waterproofing.
This means customers buying the 4.7-inch iPhone 7s could be left out of enhanced waterproofing, dual-camera, and wireless charging, and possibly some other features as well.
It is important to note here that Samsung, Apple’s number one rival, had introduced the wireless charging in 2013 on its Galaxy S4 model, and specific variants with a dedicated wireless charging kit.
