Both apps are available through Google Drive and Google Photos for download.
While iOS users have already started seeing the redesign, Android users will have to wait until March 18, 2019 for the updated appearance.
Google has made its Backup and Sync desktop app available for download on Mac and Windows after a delay in June. Users will now be able to sync up anything including media files, pictures from cameras, SD cards and USB devices.
This will allow users help protect their files by backing them up. Business users of G Suite are recommended to keep using Google Drive until a business-focused solution called Drive File Stream comes out later this year. People can sign up for Drive File Stream’s early adopter program though.
