Levi’s latest smart invention includes a Commuter Trucker Jacket that comes equipped with Google Jacquard. The smart jacket uses the said technology to keep wearers connected without having to manually look at their smartphones. There is no need for an added accessory either.
This is the first a jacket is equipped with Google’s Project Jacquard technology. The smart jacket sports a removable tag that users can remove to get it laundered. Users can now access a music library, navigate a route or even silence a phone call without reaching out for their smartphones.
The jacket, which was first announced back in 2016, is expected to go on sale for $350 later this year.
