Google introduces invisible reCAPTCHA
Since the launch of No CAPTCHA reCAPTCHA, millions of internet users have been able to attest they are human with just a single click. Now, Google is taking it a step further and making it invisible.
Human users will now be let through without seeing the ‘I’m not a robot’ checkbox, while suspicious ones and bots still have to solve the challenges.
The company will be making use of a new technology that utilises machine learning and an improved risk analysis engine to analyse web browsing behaviour. The user will only need to solve a CAPTCHA if their browsing patterns are suspicious.
CAPTCHAs help web developers prevent malicious bots from attacking websites. They also help Google enhance their machine learning database by digitising and transcribing images and text.
