ACT Fibernet on pan-India growth spree; announces multiple partnerships

ACT Fibernet announced that it would provide enhanced social content experience.

After a Valentine’s Day brand refresh, India’s largest fiber broadband internet provider, ACT, is on a pan-India growth spree. Over the last ten days, the company has expanded its presence to two of India’s most promising towns – Lucknow and Jaipur -- offering its unique suite of enterprise and home internet services.

As part of the company’s new brand strategy ‘Feel the Advantage’, Lucknow subscribers of the ACT Silver plan will get 100Mbps speed with 500GB FUP limit, while the ACT Gold plan will offer 1000GB FUP limit with 150Mbps speed.

If you subscribe to any of the broadband plans for six months, you will get 1-month complimentary internet connectivity along with 300GB additional data over the subscription tenure. Similarly, if you choose to subscribe to the 12-month plan, you stand to will get an additional two months complimentary broadband connectivity with 1200GB additional data over the subscription tenure. As an introductory offer, installation charges are waived of on all the plans for the first 30 days.

The company has also launched similar services in Jaipur.

ACT and Chill

During its rebranding launch in Delhi in February, ACT Fibernet announced that it would provide enhanced social content experience, in its quest to become the single source of connected content for all your entertainment needs. While the company had previously announced partnerships with video streaming providers like Zee and Sony, ACT Fibernet has recently partnered with Netflix. As part of this unique partnership, existing and new customers who opt for the 6-month and 12-month ‘Entertainment’ plan variants will be able to pay for their monthly Netflix subscription through their ACT Fibernet bill. Additionally, customers will also receive an assured cashback of up to INR 350 per month on their ACT bills, which will be added to their ACT accounts. The offer is currently available for customers across Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and will soon be expanded to other markets.

The Vivo Indian Premier League begins on March 23rd and the lucky handful that get to see live action from the stadium, will obviously boast about it on their social streams. ACT Fibernet will provide fast Wi-Fi connectivity during all the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) home matches at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. ACT claims that T-20 fans in the stadium will be able to enjoy HD quality speeds on Wi-Fi, access internet in the stadium, view live videos, watch match replays, and indulge in social media activities, all in real-time.

The company, along with the CSK team management, plans to host contests and engagement activities for fans. Chosen lucky winners can win match tickets, signed memorabilia and interact with their favorite cricketers.
