Tesla Tesla CEO, Elon Musk had caused a flutter when he recently tweeted promising to deliver an “unexpected “new product at a special event slated to occur on the October 17. The speculation spread and if rumors are to be believed, it would be that Tesla is introducing new Autopilot hardware next week.
Tesla, since long, had been working on a new autonomous technology platform dubbed Tesla Vision. This technology promises to make the company’s Autopilot software more impressive and better than other autonomous technologies floating in the market.
Another possibility concerning Tesla’s upcoming event is that Musk may make important announcements regarding the features of Tesla’s highly anticipated Model 3. It was during the initial unveiling of the Model 3, Musk has confirmed a second reveal before 2017.
