The smartphone space has already seen numerous reports of the Galaxy Note 7 exploding — many of whom are now calling it the “Note 7 fiasco”. Many jokes and memes have been made on it but very few have actually seen a footage of a Note 7 smoking — in its final moments before the battery destroys the functioning parts of the phone and everything goes up in smoke.
Samsung has ended the production of the Galaxy Note 7 owning to reports of the flagship phone posing a domestic and business risk to its users and surrounding area. Both the original and replacement units of the phone were catching on fire and now a video has come out illustrating how at least one of the incidents occurred. The Associated Press published the video which you can see below.
In a minute long CCTV footage, one can see Dee Decasa from Honolulu holding her Galaxy Note 7 as it began to smoke. This is the sixth reported replacement device to have caught fire in the United States.
