After showing its creativity in camera accessories for smartphones, Moments has now introduced its own camera app for iOS and Android. The camera app offers various features and effects for shooting pictures and videos in order to lend the users a more professional experience.
The app acts as the conventional viewfinder, similar to the stock camera feature available in smartphones, but with more options to customise the pictures while one captures them. From exposure, ISO, white balance to shutter balance and focus, it gives various parameters to play with. Apart from the functionality to adjust and lock focus and exposure, it also consists of RAW capture which works on selected devices.
In the Moments camera app, every parameter is supported by a histogram representation for better judgment. The iOS version gets several extra features as it lets you record videos through the app. Along with various resolutions and frame choices, it incorporates electronic image stabilisation for recording videos on the go. The app for the iPhone allows images to be saved in formats including HEIF, JPEG as well as RAW and TIFF. Videos can be saved in HVEC and H.264 formats.
All the features of Moment camera app come at a price as you have to buy it for $2.99. Moment has been popular for producing smartphone camera accessories integrated into back covers as lenses which are exclusive for iPhones.
