Uber has introduced a new feature that suggests destination on the basis of the user’s calendar. In other words, Uber through its calendar integration will be suggesting destinations on the basis of meetings and events that the users have scheduled in the past.
This is the third such option alongside the ‘Work’ and ‘Home’ set location options. The app will automatically update itself on the basis of what is coming up in the personal agenda of the user. Users are required to specify an exact location for meetings in their calendar.
The feature proves to be quite convenient for those who are good at managing and keeping a calendar. The feature is only available for iOS users as of now. Reports suggest that the latest update will be rolled out to Android devices soon.
