OnePlus Pixel appears on benchmarking website
OnePlus right now is all set to launch its new device with the latest Snapdragon 821 SoC on November 15. However, interestingly ahead of its launch, a new mysterious device with the name “OnePlus Pixel” has been spotted in Geekbench.
The listing, spotted by PhoneArena showed the device named as OnePlus Pixel. The device is slated to be clocked at 1.59GHz, with 6GB of RAM. The other specifications are similar to the OnePlus 3 which is currently available in the market. The only difference is the Android 7.1 Nougat, which is only available on the Google’s Pixel and Nexus range of devices as of now.
OnePlus 3T, slated to launch next week, is already confirmed to have the Snapdragon 821 SoC. This means there are no chances that the OnePlus 3T is the same as the OnePlus Pixel. The new 3T will feature a SD 821 clocked at 2.35GHz, as opposed to the SD 820 SoC clocked at 2.15GHz found in the OnePlus 3.
According to what the rumors say, the next OnePlus will likely features an 8GB RAM and a 3300mAh battery with Dash charging support. The device might be running an updated OxygenOS, based on the Android 7.0 Nougat. However, there are two things that are already confirmed about the Optic AMOLED displays and Qualcomm’s latest processor powering it.
