Apple releases iOS 10.1 Public Beta 3
Apple has rolled out the Public Beta 3 for supported devices, including the recently launched iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The update brings the new Portrait camera feature to iPhone 7 Plus, allowing users to take pictures with a bokeh effect using the dual camera setup.
For other supported devices, the update brings enhancements to the performance and fixes few issues reported by the users after the iOS 10 release. Users with supported iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch device that runs iOS 10.0, iOS 10.0.1, or iOS 10.0.2, you can upgrade to iOS 10.1 Public Beta 3.
Existing users can update their devices from iOS 10.1 Public Beta 2 or a previous release by going to Settings app and accessing the Software Update entry.
The company also rolled out the third Developer Beta of the upcoming tvOS 10.0.1 operating system for 4th gen Apple TV devices, alongside Xcode 8.1 Beta 3 IDE (Integrated Development Environment) software that contains all the SDKs of iOS 10.1, macOS 10.12.1 Sierra, watchOS 3.1, and tvOS 10.0.1.
