Reliance Jio recently terminated its latest ‘Surprise Summer’ offer after TRAI ordered it to. According to TRAI, the offer apparently does not comply with the already established regulatory framework. Jio customers are naturally disappointed. However, all is not over when it comes to Reliance Jio. The telecom giant is rumoured to be working on new tariff plans and has even said that there are many ‘exciting offers’ coming the way of the customers ‘soon.’
This happened when Reliance Jio announced the ‘Surprise Summer’ offer. The company had said at that time that the offer in subject is just first of many surprises that are to come this year.
However, there are no details regarding the expected tariff packs yet.
Reliance Jio ‘Surprise Summer’ offer
The ‘Surprise Summer’ offer provided by Reliance Jio gave Prime subscribers the ability to avail three months of free benefits for the price of one month. However, the offer was suspended after TRAI discovered that the offer was violating the regulatory framework set by them.
Following which, Reliance Jio updated its website, announcing that they will introduce new tariff packs and some “exciting offers” soon.
