It is a myth that airplanes dump poop from the toilets when in mid air. The waste is securely stored in a tank and is later cleaned out when the airplane gets ready for the next flight. However, there have been incidents where poop and pee have leaked out of airplanes and fallen out of the sky in the forms of large clumps called blue ice.
