An iPhone 7 adapter that lets you listen music while charging
Soon after the launch of flagship iPhone 7, Apple has been criticized for eliminating the headphone jack. But the removal of the 3.5mm audio jack has given an opportunity to the manufacturers to introduce new accessories for the latest iPhone.
However, Apple itself introduced a host of accessories for its latest flagship such as the AirPods and Lightning to 3.5mm adapter. But now Belkin has introduced a new adapter that will enable users to use the headphones and charge the device simultaneously.
The adapter is dubbed as Lightning Audio + Charge RockStar will be selling at a cost of $39.95 (approx Rs 2,700) and will be available on Belkin’s website and Apple’s online as well as retail stores.
"We're excited to offer the Lightning Audio + Charge RockStar to our customers, extending our family of RockStar multi-port products and creating an easy way for people to charge and listen on the go," said Steve Malony, VP, GM Belkin
The adapter supports 48 kHz, 24-bit audio output, and remote control and mic support for Apple-made headphones.
Apple is also bundling a 3.5mm to Lightning port adapter, enabling users to connect standard 3.5mm auxiliary headphones with the iPhone, the adapter will cost you $9 (approximately Rs 600) in case you misplace it.
