T-Wallet payment for TSRTC travel
Hyderabad: The TSRTC has incorporated a provision allowing the passengers to pay for e-tickets using T-Wallet. Transport Minister Mahender Reddy, along with Sunil Sharma, managing director, and Executive Director Purushotham Naik, inaugurated the new integration. The facility will be enabled from August 9. Speaking on the occasion, the minister said that the transport department is using information technology in a full scale.
With the new integration, the passengers can book and reserve seats, just like the airline passengers can do. The TSRTC Online Passenger Reservation System (OPRS) provides facility to the passengers for booking tickets for about 1,770 long distance services. On average, about 13,000 seats are booked per day, and of which 6,000 are through e-ticketing.
