Now you'll have more control over Google
Google Now was made available to users in 2011, as an intelligent personal assistant to answer questions, make recommendations and perform actions by delegating requests to a set of web services. In other words, Google Now was nothing more than Google’s version of Siri. Over time, we observed Google carrying out determining attempts at delivering variety in terms of user experience within Google Now.
As a part of this effort, Google is considering adding a new ‘Explore Interests’ feature in the app. As reported by Android Police, this new update is set to make it easier for users to control the information displayed via Google Now. Users can add their preferred interests to the new category and Google Now will then track that category for you. You can even add interests within interests, thereby making tracking specific information, highly convenient and user-friendly by nature.
Only screenshots have been shared with Android Police for the time being. Google has hushed the matter away by saying it is merely an ‘experiment.’
However, Google Now users can most probably expect their news feed to be flowing with the stories that suit their interests without having to actually input the same.
