Apple's iPhone battery replacement won't be delayed: Report
Apple has reportedly announced that the service inventory of its iPhone replacement batteries is available without delay. This essentially means iPhone owners won't have to face extended shipping delays. However, it is to be noted that the immediate inventory may vary by location, Cnet reports.
The move comes after many iPhone owners discovered that Apple was slowing down older iPhones to prevent unexpected shutdowns owing to old batteries.
For this, Apple started offering a USD 29 battery replacement program for affected users. However, some users complained of short supply of batteries. If Apple has indeed replenished the inventory then it will become a lot easier for those seeking a replacement.
