Instagram makes its desktop experience more convenient

The photo-sharing app apparently added more features to its Web portals, to make it more functional.

In an effort to enhance its web-portal experience, Instagram has reportedly added a bunch of new updates.

Now users will be able to share photos and even surf through its ‘Explore’ tab on its mobile website. One can even edit their profile, create a new profile and upload photos and videos with filters as per their preference.

The new update was was first spotted by Matt Navarra of The NextWeb who took to Twitter to publish the news. Instagram later confirmed it to TechCrunch, "Instagram.com (accessed from mobile) is a Web experience optimised for mobile phones. It's designed to help people have a fuller experience on Instagram no matter what device or network they are on."

Recently, it was reported that Instagram now has a total of 700 million users. The company also announced that the last 100 million users were added in a span of merely four months.
