Gionee India has announced the availability of A1 Lite, the latest addition to the A1 series. The A1 Lite comes with a 20MP selfie camera, 4000mAh battery and a fingerprint sensor for added security. The device will be available across all retail stores in India at a price of Rs 14,999 from 10 August 2017.
The new smartphone in the A1 series sports a 5.3-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The smartphone also offers a split screen to enhance the user experience and allows users to do more simultaneously. The phone comes in two colours - Gold and Black.
The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek 1.3GHz octa-core processor paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card.
Optics on the device includes a 13MP rear camera, while there is a 20MP selfie camera with an LED flash. Powered by 4-cell technology, the front camera claims to capture more light than before resulting clearer selfie.
Gionee has partnered with Airtel and PayTm to announce two offers. New or existing Airtel Customers who purchase A1 Lite will get additional 10 GB data per month for six months on any data recharge of 1GB and above. Also, every purchase of Gionee A1 Lite will be accompanied with two PayTM Cashback Vouchers Codes entitling customers with Rs 250 cash back on a minimum purchase of Rs 350 on PayTM Mall.
