The new long press will also work on Google article suggestions on its New Tab page.

This New Tap page will include the articles user has already downloaded, which will be flagged with an offline badge.

An additional “Download Page Later” button in Chrome’s offline dinosaur will let users automatically download the page when you get back online.

To avail the upgraded feature users need to have the latest version of Chrome from the Google Play Store.
