Western Digital Corporation (WDC) has announced the launch of SanDisk Extreme PRO USB 3.1 Solid State Flash Drive, its fastest, high-capacity USB flash drive to date, and SanDisk Extreme Go USB 3.1 Flash Drive, a high-speed flash drive which is up to 35X faster than standard USB 2.0 drives.
Delivering the speed, capacity, and reliability of an SSD, SanDisk Extreme PRO USB 3.1 Solid State Flash Drives are ideal for creative professionals, tech enthusiasts, or anyone who creates and shares massive files, while SanDisk Extreme Go USB 3.1 Flash Drive allows consumers to quickly copy data on the go. These products will initially be available on Amazon select retail outlets and subsequently rolled out to other retail partners in a phased manner.
The SanDisk Extreme PRO USB 3.1 Solid State Flash Drive is capable of read speeds up to 420MB/s and write speeds up to 380MB/s. With its unprecedented speeds, you can transfer full-length 4K movie to the drive in less than 15 seconds and 1000 photos in less than 25 seconds. The SanDisk Extreme PRO Solid State Flash Drive available in 256GB and 128GB and the SanDisk Extreme Go USB 3.1 Flash Drive available in 128GB and 64GB, gives consumers plenty of room to manage and store large files. The new SanDisk Extreme PRO USB 3.1 Solid State Flash Drive will be available in 128GB and 256GB capacities at Rs 8,490 and Rs 13,990 respectively and SanDisk Extreme Go USB 3.1 Flash Drive will be available in 64GB and 128GB capacities at Rs 3,990 and Rs 5,990 respectively.
