Facebook Messenger, Telegram, Viber—all those messaging applications already supports GIF, while WhatsApp only allow its users to share GIF content by sending links.
According to the recent reports surfaced via online changelog, WhatsApp will also update the UI for the App and Help menu, and improve its previous features including sending documents, video messaging and audio contents.
